Auburn-Millbury Rockets Hockey players in action earlier this season

MILLBURY, Mass. - The Hudson Hawks broken open a scoreless game with three goals in the span of just 49 seconds to take control and beat the Auburn-Millbury Hockey team 6-1 on Saturday afternoon in Hudson.

The Hawks were led by Brian Fahey who scored four goals, each of them assisted by his brother Tom Fahey. Tim Murphy and Zach Graham scored for Hudson in the pivotal second period where they blew the game open.

The lone goal for Auburn-Millbury was scored by Steve Shiner and assisted by Joe Fahey. Hudson (15-1-1) outshot Auburn-Millbury (11-4-3) 47-13.

Evan Lockwood was peppered in goal for the Rockets and was eventually replaced by Chad Savoie. Hudson's Shane Barry wasn't as tested in goal for Hudson having face far less rubber during the game.

The Rockets are off until next Saturday when they face Marlborough at home at 7 p.m. The top ranked Hawks play on Wednesday at Fitchburg, game time is 7 p.m.
