MILLBURY, Mass. - Its not normal that writers get to write about themselves, but today is a rare exception. Tonight from 6 - 8 p.m. I have the pleasure to be invited to the Comcast New England SportsNet New England Football Night.

Held at the Renaissance Hotel and Spa at Patriot Place in Foxborough, the event will be attended by some of the best football writers in New England, including Tom E. Curran, Mike Giradi and including former Patriots great Troy Brown as well as current Patriots Linebacker Jerod Mayo.

This should be a great evening of football and Patriots talk followed by some one-on-one time with Jerod Mayo, so how do our readers feel about the Patriots chances this year in the playoffs? With the Broncos fresh off of their win over the Steelers, it should be a Tim Tebow filled week of news stories.

But if any of our readers would like me to ask Jerod Mayo or Troy Brown a question, respond here or to our Facebook page and I will be sure to try and ask it.

Once the clock strikes eight however,  I will undoubtedly break the speed limit to get back to town for the Planning Board Meeting which will be taped by my wife for me so that I don't miss any of our local news.
