MILFORD, Mass. – Beverly A. (Malo) Fraser Adams, 93, of Congress Street, died Friday, Feb. 17, 2012 in Milford Regional Medical Center. She was the wife of the late Fred O. Adams who died in 2010 and the late George A. Fraser who died in 1980.

Mrs. Adams was employed for 15 years as a bookkeeper for the Zayre’s Corp. in Natick until her retirement at the age of 70. She had previously been employed at the former Porter Shoe Co. and the former Woman’s Store, both in Milford.

She was born March 25, 1918 in Milton, NH the daughter of the late Wilfred and Clara (Columbus) Malo. She was a graduate of Marlborough High School in Marlborough and Becker Junior College in Worcester. Mrs. Adams had been a resident of Milford for over 50 years.

Mrs. Adams was the secretary of her high school class and organized all class reunions. She was a volunteer for the Milford Senior Center, enjoyed ballroom dancing, and loved to play the organ.

She is survived by two daughters, Sandra C. Felton of Milford and Sharon L. Fraser of Millbury, five grandchildren, Karen Rogers of Upton, Laurie Christenson of Milford, Christopher Felton of Mendon, Jeffrey Hoey of Santa Clara, CA, and Kelly Susi of Walpole; 11 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandson; and nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two brothers; Clarence Malo and Clayton Malo.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wed. Feb. 29, 2012 at 10 a.m. in St. Mary’s Church, 19 Winter St., Milford, MA 01757. Interment will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Milford.
